Is the waterfall always running?

The waterfall and lagoon depend on the season and recent rainfall, so some days there's more water than others.

Who shouldn't do this tour?

It isn't recommended if you're pregnant, have back problems, or have heart problems or another serious medical condition. It isn't wheelchair accessible. Weight limits: 170 kg (375 lb) on a single ATV and 250 kg (550 lb) for two riders on a double ATV.

Are there photos of the tour?

Our photographers take photos along the way, and photo packages are available to buy after the tour.

How does payment and cancellation work?

Pay 20% online to book and the rest at the shop. Cancel up to 24 hours before for a full refund. Payments go through Stripe or PayPal: we never see or store your card details.

Which currency do I pay in?

US dollars or Mexican pesos: pick at the top of the page and that's exactly what you're charged. Some card issuers add a small foreign transaction fee for payments to a business in Mexico. That's set by your bank, not us.

Can our group ride different vehicles?

Yes. Mix ATVs, RZRs, Jeeps and bikes. Each vehicle is private to your group and everyone leaves together. Tours take up to 20 people.

What an EXPERIENCE!

What an incredible experience! This was hands down one of the highlights of our Puerto Vallarta vacation. As a mom traveling with two adult teenage boys and their friends, I always want to find activities that are exciting, safe, and memorable—and this ATV tour exceeded every expectation. The staff was so warm, welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely cared that everyone had a great time. The ride through the jungle was absolutely beautiful, and we loved exploring parts of the forest we never would have experienced on our own. Stopping by the river to enjoy a delicious meal while listening to the peaceful sounds of the water made the adventure even more special. A special shout-out to the photographer, who did an amazing job capturing the adventure! The action shots of us splashing through the water were incredible and perfectly captured the excitement of the ride. Those photos will definitely be some of our favorite vacation memories. The best part? As soon as we got back in the taxi to head to our resort, the kids couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had—the ATV ride, the jungle trails, the scenery, the delicious food, and the overall adventure. Hearing them relive their favorite moments made this experience priceless for me. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a fun, safe, and unforgettable adventure. Great adventure and views.

Such a great adventure. My tour guide was Angel. He was awesome. Carefully and fully explained the itinerary. Went over the safety rules and how to use the ATV. The ride was so great. Amazing views. The tequila tasting was good. A nice break. The pools at the last stop was refreshing. Much recommend taking this tour. And ask for Angel if you can.

Good to know

How long is the tour?

A 30-minute safety briefing at the shop, then about 3 hours on the tour. Back about 3½ hours after check-in.

Where do we meet, and when?

At our shop, Av. México 1278, 5 de Diciembre, Puerto Vallarta. There's a big sign on the side of the building. Check in at 10:00 or 13:30, the time on your booking. The tour ends back at the shop.

Do you pick up from hotels or the cruise port?

No, we meet at the shop. We're a 5-minute drive from the cruise ship terminal in downtown Puerto Vallarta, and an Uber or taxi is the easiest way to get here.

Do I need a driving licence?

Yes, drivers need a valid government-issued licence from any country and must be 18 or older. You drive the vehicle yourself, with a guide leading the way.

Can kids come?

Yes. Passengers can be from 8 years old and must ride with an adult who takes responsibility for them. Infant seats are available in the RZRs. Tequila is only served to guests 18 and over.

What should I bring?

Your confirmation email and driver's licence, a swimsuit if you want to swim in the lagoon, and cash for food, drinks and tips. Bring as little as possible: there isn't much room on the vehicles.
